Our mission is to educate our clients on the health of their skin and encourage their own self-beauty.

We aim to educate our clients in a safe environment while offering them comforting and relaxing care. We understand that not many have an understanding about skincare and how to properly take care of their skin, so we offer consultations that will help to inform of which services will work best and what will help best with their personal skincare regimen.

Meet the Founder of Azarah Skincare and Cosmetics

Azarah Mock-Watts, Licensed Aesthetician and Educator

Azarah Mock, professionally known as ‘Zay’, has been in the beauty industry for over 30 years. A native Chicagoan, Zay started out as a manager for one of Chicago’s top natural hair care salons in the early 80’s. Since then, Zay’s love for the industry has continued as she’s pursued her career in esthetics.

Azarah obtained her aesthetician’s license in 2006 from Dudley’s Beauty Institute, where she learned and developed a deeper passion for the beauty industry. After obtaining her license, she continued to train under the tutelage of BettyO, one of Chicago’s premier spa owners and owner of ‘BettyO Day Spa’, the first black owned spa in Chicago. Zay’s approach is one that encompasses all of the technical knowledge, with a relaxing and soothing signature touch. A true master of all services offered, Azarah has recently completed coursework to become an aesthetics instructor to share her knowledge and passion for the skincare industry. Her dedication and love for the beauty industry has boosted her credibility over the years and resulted in a growing, loyal and strong client base.
